The Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski was a guest on the TV 21 show „Click Plus“ where he stated that it is a time when people are ashamed and afraid to say that they are pro European Union.
„Why did we change our name? In order to enter the NATO, as far as security was concerned, could we make it ourselves, of course we couldn’t. Those are the alternatives. There are other alternatives besides the EU, bit they are not better for us. How can we keep our citizens’ enthusiasm if the ones on the other side don’t deliver? People are ashamed and afraid to say they they are pro EU“, said Pendarovski.
